Youth Leadership Award 2024
The first Globethics Youth Leadership Award was launched in our 20th Anniversary year to recognise, honour and empower young leaders from around the world striving for positive, ethical change in their community, institution, society, nation, region or even globally.
Youth Leadership Award 2024 Winners
Having received almost 150 applications from young leaders from 38 countries, we are delighted to announce the three winners of the Youth Leadership Award 2024, who presented their projects and were awarded prizes at the Global Ethics Forum 2024.
Event attendees, both onsite and online, voted for the finalists to win first, second and third places during the programme.

First prize winner: Aishworya Shrestha (Nepal) is the founder of the NGO Heart of Nepal, with eight years of experience as a social worker, including roles as a wheelchair basketball coach, adult literacy trainer for adult entertainment workers, and researcher. Heart of Nepal empowers Dalit families through holistic programs in education, livelihood, and leadership.
Second prize winner: Stanley Anigbogu (Nigeria) is the Founder & CEO of LightEd, a company that recycles electrical and electronic waste to provide energy solutions to rural families. He is deeply committed to using technology to help mitigate climate change and create a world where everyone has equal access to clean, affordable energy.
Third prize winner: Maluyane Titus Abongdoh (Cameroon) is the founder of e-Mentor, an immersive VR educational platform aimed at democratizing access to affordable quality education for internally displaced students in conflict-affected regions. e-Mentor's overarching goal is to enable one million students to regain access to education by 2030.
Globethics Youth Leadership Award 2024 Mentors
The Globethics Youth Leadership Award jury was composed of three independent members, selected to reflect diversity of geography, gender and other factors. Following the Youth Leadership Award ceremony, the three jury members are now mentors accompanying and supporting the award winners in the growth of their changemaking initiatives.

The 2024 awards
As well as achieving recognition for their pioneering work and benefiting from the support of a mentor for nine months, the 2024 award winners also receive financial support to upscale and to multiply the results of their project.
